14 Now here you have risen in the place of your fathers as a brood of sinful men who increase the burning anger of Jehovah against Israel.

6 For our fathers have been unfaithful and have done what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah our God.+ They abandoned him and turned their faces away from the tabernacle of Jehovah and turned their back on him.+
