44 The word that came to Jeremiah for all the Jews living in the land of Egypt,+ those living in Migʹdol,+ Tahʹpan·hes,+ Noph,*+ and the land of Pathʹros,+ saying:

10 So I am against you and against your Nile, and I will make the land of Egypt devastated and dry, a desolate wasteland,+ from Migʹdol+ to Sy·eʹne+ to the boundary of E·thi·oʹpi·a.

 6 This is what Jehovah says:

“‘From Migʹdol+ to Sy·eʹne+ they will fall by the sword in the land,’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
