10 Joshua then said: “By this you will know that a living God is among you,+ and that he will without fail drive away from before you the Caʹnaan·ites, the Hitʹtites, the Hiʹvites, the Perʹiz·zites, the Girʹga·shites, the Amʹor·ites, and the Jebʹu·sites.+

26 I am issuing an order that in every domain of my kingdom, people are to tremble in fear before the God of Daniel.+ For he is the living God and he endures forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rulership* is eternal.+
