3 In those days John+ the Baptist came preaching+ in the wilderness of Ju·deʹa, 2 saying: “Repent, for the Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.”+

5 These 12 Jesus sent out, giving them these instructions:+ “Do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter any Sa·marʹi·tan city;+ 6 but instead, go continually to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.+ 7 As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’+

14 Now after John was arrested,+ Jesus went into Galʹi·lee,+ preaching the good news of God+ 15 and saying: “The appointed time has been fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent,+ and have faith in the good news.”

14 Now Jesus returned in the power of the spirit* into Galʹi·lee.+ And good reports about him spread throughout all the surrounding country.
