14 When he came ashore, he saw a large crowd, and he felt pity for them,+ and he cured their sick ones.+

32 But Jesus called his disciples to him and said: “I feel pity for the crowd,+ because they have already stayed with me for three days and they have had nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry,* for they may give out on the road.”+

34 Moved with pity,+ Jesus touched their eyes,+ and immediately they recovered their sight, and they followed him.

15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,+ but we have one who has been tested in all respects as we have,+ but without sin.+
