11 I, for my part, baptize you with water because of your repentance,+ but the one coming after me+ is stronger than I am, whose sandals I am not worthy to take off.+ That one will baptize you with holy spirit+ and with fire.+

5 for John, indeed, baptized with water, but you will be baptized with holy spirit+ not many days after this.”

2 Now while the day of the Festival of Pentecost+ was in progress, they were all together at the same place.

4 and they all became filled with holy spirit+ and started to speak in different languages, just as the spirit enabled them to speak.+

16 At this I recalled the saying of the Lord, how he used to say: ‘John baptized with water,+ but you will be baptized with holy spirit.’+

13 For by one spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one spirit.
