34 Jesus said to him: “Truly I say to you, on this night, before a rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”+

74 Then he started to curse and swear: “I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed. 75 And Peter called to mind what Jesus had said, namely: “Before a rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”+ And he went outside and wept bitterly.

30 At that Jesus said to him: “Truly I say to you that today, yes, on this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you will disown me three times.”+

72 Immediately a rooster crowed a second time,+ and Peter recalled what Jesus had said to him: “Before a rooster crows twice, you will disown me three times.”+ And he broke down and began to weep.

34 But he said: “I tell you, Peter, a rooster will not crow today until you have denied knowing me three times.”+

60 But Peter said: “Man, I do not know what you are saying.” And instantly, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed. 61 At this the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter recalled the statement of the Lord when he had said to him: “Before a rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.”+

27 However, Peter denied it again, and immediately a rooster crowed.+
