16 So he arrived at Derʹbe and also at Lysʹtra.+ And a disciple named Timothy+ was there, the son of a believing Jewish woman but of a Greek father, 2 and he was well-reported-on by the brothers+ in Lysʹtra and I·coʹni·um.

21 Timothy,+ my fellow worker, greets you, and so do Lucius, Jaʹson, and So·sipʹa·ter, my relatives.+

10 Now if Timothy+ arrives, make sure that he has nothing to fear while among you, for he is performing the work of Jehovah,+ just as I am.

19 Now I am hoping in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy+ to you shortly, so that I may be encouraged when I receive news about you. 20 For I have no one else of a disposition like his who will genuinely care for your concerns.+ 21 For all the others are seeking their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ. 22 But you know the proof he gave of himself, that like a child+ with a father he slaved with me to advance the good news.
