9 Jehovah will establish you as a holy people to himself,+ just as he swore to you,+ because you continue to keep the commandments of Jehovah your God and walk in his ways.

12 Therefore, I appeal to you by the compassions of God, brothers, to present your bodies+ as a living sacrifice, holy+ and acceptable to God,+ a sacred service with your power of reason.+

14 Pursue peace with all people+ and the sanctification*+ without which no man will see the Lord.
