(Jabʹneh) [May [God] Build; [God] Has Built].

A walled Philistine city that suffered defeat at the hands of Judah’s King Uzziah. (2Ch 26:6) It is probably the same as Jabneel.​—Jos 15:11; see JABNEEL No. 1.
