- 42 Jonʹa·than said to David: “Go in peace, since we have both sworn+ in the name of Jehovah, saying, ‘May Jehovah be between you and me and between your offspring* and my offspring* forever.’”+
  
  Then David rose up and left, and Jonʹa·than went back to the city.
