5 ὅτε When γὰρ for ἦμεν we were ἐν in τῇ the σαρκί, flesh, τὰ the παθήματα passions τῶν of the ἁμαρτιῶν sins τὰ the (ones) διὰ through τοῦ the νόμου Law ἐνηργεῖτο was at work within ἐν in τοῖς the μέλεσιν members ἡμῶν of us εἰς into τὸ the καρποφορῆσαι to bear fruit τῷ to the θανάτῳ· death;
