Since these brothers had gone forth in behalf of Jehovah’s name and were declaring the “good news” to the Gentiles without accepting material support from them, fellow Christians were “under obligation to receive such [evangelizers] hospitably.” By assisting them, these hospitable worshipers of Jehovah were playing a vital role in furthering the interests of Christianity. They thus proved to be “fellow workers in the truth.”
