9. If we are to enjoy the blessing of continued freedom from religious error, what must we do?

⁹ We enjoy the blessing of continued freedom from religious error, but to keep that liberty, we must reject apostasy. The Galatians had been running the Christian race well, but some were hindering them from obeying the truth. Such wicked persuasion was not from God and was to be resisted. As a little leaven ferments a whole lump, false teachers or a leaning toward apostasy can corrupt an entire congregation.
