Above all, like the alpine flower, we must tenaciously cleave to our “rock,” Jehovah, as well as to his Word and to his organization.—2 Samuel 22:3.

8. What if we do not fully appreciate some Scriptural point presented by the faithful and discreet slave?

⁸ As Jehovah’s dedicated Witnesses, all of us must be loyal to him and to his organization.

But to faithful individuals and to his organization as a whole, Jehovah has repeatedly proved that he still guides and protects his servants.

Faithful early Christians endured intense persecution and yet remained loyal to God and to his organization, the Christian congregation.

However, one who is disfellowshiped can become reconciled to Jehovah and to his organization in time and be reinstated as a brother, provided he repents, changes his course, manifests a humble attitude and proves over a period of time that he earnestly desires to live in harmony with God’s Word.

Hold fast to God’s Word and to his organization.

²⁶ The very ones who have intensely loved them must strike and wound them in order to demonstrate their own principled loyalty to God and to his organization and to safeguard his loyal visible organization.

We must stay close to God and to his organization.
