UmSamariya Uba Ngumakhelwane Sibili
UKUPHILA OKUNGAPHELIYO KUTHOLAKALA NJANI?
UMSAMARIYA ONGUMAKHELWANE
UJesu uthi elokhu eseduze leJerusalema alandwe ngamaJuda atshiyeneyo. Amanye afuna ukufunda kuye futhi amanye afuna ukumlinga. Omunye wawo oyisazi soMthetho umbuza athi: “Mfundisi, kumele ngenzeni ukuze ngizuze ilifa lokuphila okungapheliyo?”—ULukha 10:25.
UJesu unanzelela ukuthi indoda le kayibuzeli ukuthi ifuna ukwazi kuphela. Mhlawumbe ifuna uJesu aphendule ngendlela ezacaphula amaJuda. UJesu uyananzelela lokuthi indoda le ivele isilombono wayo ngendaba le. Yikho utshengisa ukuhlakanipha ayiphendule ngendlela ezakwenza iveze lokho okusengqondweni yayo.
UJesu uyibuza athi: “EMthethweni kubhalweni? Ukuzwisisa njani lokho okubalayo?” Indoda le iwujayele uMthetho kaNkulunkulu yikho iphendula ngamazwi akuDutheronomi 6:5 lakuLevi 19:18. Ithi: “‘Kumele uthande uJehova uNkulunkulu wakho ngenhliziyo yakho yonke, langomphefumulo wakho wonke, langamandla akho wonke, langengqondo yakho yonke,’ futhi ‘uthande umakhelwane wakho ngendlela ozithanda ngayo.’” (ULukha 10:26, 27) Le yiyo yini impendulo?
UJesu uthi endodeni le: “Impendulo yakho iqondile; qhubeka usenza njalo, uzakuzuza ukuphila.” Kodwa ingxoxo le kayipheleli lapho. Indoda le kayifuni mpendulo kuphela kodwa ifuna ‘lokutshengisa ukuthi ilungile’ lokuthi uJesu athi indlela ezwisisa ngayo iqondile. Ifuna kukhanye ukuthi iphatha abanye ngendlela eqondileyo, yikho ibuza uJesu isithi: “Umakhelwane wami ngubani sibili?” (ULukha 10:28, 29) Umbuzo lo ukhanya ungatsho lutho kodwa uthwele okukhulu.
AmaJuda acabanga ukuthi ‘umakhelwane’ ngulowo kuphela olandela amasiko amaJuda njalo kungakhanya angani amazwi akuLevi 19:18 ayavumelana lendlela acabanga ngayo. Kanti njalo umJuda angatsho lokuthi “akukho emthethweni” ukuthi adlelane lomuntu ongasimJuda. (ImiSebenzi 10:28) Yikho indoda le, mhlawumbe labanye abafundi bakaJesu, bazibona belungile nxa bephatha kuhle amaJuda kuphela. Kodwa ongasimJuda akulandaba lanxa bangaze bemphathe kubi ngoba ‘kasimakhelwane’ wabo sibisibili.
UJesu ukuqondisa njani ukucabanga lokhu ngendlela engasoze icaphule indoda le lamanye amaJuda? Ulandisa indaba ethile, uthi: “Kulendoda eyayisehla isuka eJerusalema isiya eJerikho yasihlaselwa yizigebenga, zayihlubula izigqoko, zayitshaya zasuka zahamba, zayitshiya sokusele udokoza.” Uqhubeka esithi: “Omunye umphristi wathi ezihambela esehla ngomgwaqo lo wayibona leyondoda, kodwa wayiceza, wahambela kwelinye icele. Kwasekufika lomLevi kuleyondawo, wayibona indoda leyo, laye wayiceza, wahambela kwelinye icele. Kodwa kwafika umSamariya, laye ehamba ngalowomgwaqo. Uthe eyibona wayizwela usizi.”—ULukha 10:30-33.
Indoda uJesu ayilandisela indaba le iyakwazi ukuthi abaphristi lamaLevi amanengi ancedisa ethempelini ahlala eJerikho. Abantu laba bathi besuka ethempelini behle ngomgwaqo okwamakhilomitha angaba ngu-23. Kwesinye isikhathi umgwaqo lo uba yingozi ngenxa yezigebenga ezicathamela abantu kuwo. Nxa umphristi lomLevi bengabona umJuda odinga uncedo, akumelanga bamncede yini? Endabeni kaJesu, kabazange benze njalo. Waze wancedwa yindoda yeSamariya, isizwe eseyiswa ngamaJuda.—UJohane 8:48.
UmSamariya wayinceda njani indoda engumJuda? UJesu uqhubeka esithi: “Wasondela kuyo wafika wabopha amanxeba ayo, wawathela amafutha lewayini. Waseyikhweza kubabhemi wakhe wahamba layo endlini yezihambi, wafika wayigcina. Ngelanga elilandelayo wakhipha odenariyu ababili wabanika umnikazi wendlu yokugcina izihambi, wasesithi kuye: ‘Mnakekele, loba yimalini ozayisebenzisa eyedlula le, ngizabuya ngikubhadala.’”—ULukha 10:34, 35.
UMfundisi Omkhulu uJesu uthi eseqedile ukulandisa indaba le abuze indoda eyisazi soMthetho athi: “Ubona angathi phakathi kwalaba abathathu ngubani owazenza waba ngumakhelwane wendoda eyahlaselwa yizigebenga?” Mhlawumbe indoda le kayikhululeki ukuphendula isithi “ngumSamariya,” yikho ithi: “Ngulowo owayenzela isihawu.” Ngemva kwalokho, uJesu wenza kucace ukuthi kungani elandise indaba le. Uthi endodeni le: “Lawe hamba uyekwenza njalo.”—ULukha 10:36, 37.
Le yindlela yokufundisa enhle kakhulu. Aluba uJesu wayephongutshela indoda eyisazi soMthetho ukuthi abantu abangasiwo maJuda labo bangomakhelwane bayo, mhlawumbe yona lamanye amaJuda alaleleyo babengeke bakuvume lokho. Kodwa impendulo yombuzo othi “Umakhelwane wami ngubani sibili?” iyazicacela ngemva kokuthi uJesu eselandise indaba elula ekhuluma ngezinto abalaleli bakhe abazijayeleyo. Umakhelwane ngulowo othanda abanye futhi abe lomusa kubo, elandela lokho iMibhalo ethi sikwenze.
