Abanye bacabanga ukuthi ukuhumutsha ibala ngebala yikho okungenza ukuthi obalayo athole khona kanye okwakubhalwe emibhalweni yakuqala. Kodwa lokhu kungenza ukuthi eminye imibhalo ingazwakali kuhle. Ngenxa yani?

Ngendimi iBhayibhili elabhalwa ngazo kuqala, ibala elithi “ukulala” lingatsho ukulala ubuthongo loba ukufa. Kodwa okwakutshiwo nguJesu evesini le yikuthi okwenza umuntu athokoze ayisikho ukuthi ulani empilweni kodwa yikuvuma ukukhokhelwa nguNkulunkulu. (ULukha 6:20) Ngakho umutsho lo ungahunyutshwa kanje, “abakunanzelelayo ukuthi bayamdinga uNkulunkulu” kumbe, “abakunanzelelayo ukuthi kumele bakhokhelwe nguNkulunkulu.” (UMathewu 5:3) Lokhu yikho okungenza ukuthi umutsho lo uzwisiseke ngendlela eqondileyo.
Emavesini amanengi ibala lesiHebheru elihunyutshwe ngokuthi “umhawu” litsho ubukhwele loba ukuba lomona ngempahla yomunye. (IZaga 6:34; U-Isaya 11:13) Kodwa ibala lesiHebheru elitsho “umhawu” yilo futhi elisetshenziswa nxa kukhulunywa ngendlela uJehova ‘atshisekela’ ngayo ukuvikela abantu bakhe kumbe nxa kukhulunywa ngokuthi ‘ufuna sizinikele kuye kuphela.’ (U-Eksodusi 34:14; 2 AmaKhosi 19:31; UHezekheli 5:13; UZakhariya 8:2) Lingaphinda lisetshenziswe nxa kukhulunywa ngendlela izinceku zikaNkulunkulu ezithembekileyo ‘ezikutshisekela’ ngayo ukumkhonza lokuhlala ‘zithembekile’ kuye.—IHubo 69:9; 119:139; AmaNani 25:11.
Ibala lesiHebheru elitsho isandla lingatsho izinto ezitshiyeneyo kusiya ngokuthi kukhulunywa ngani. Ngakho lingahunyutshwa ngokuthi “umbuso,” ‘isihle,’ kumbe ‘amandla.’ (2 USamuyeli 8:3; 1 AmaKhosi 10:13; IZaga 18:21) Ibala leli lihunyutshwe ngezindlela ezinengi ezitshiyeneyo ku-Nguqulo Yomhlaba Omutsha YeMibhalo Engcwele yesiNdebele.
Konke lokhu esikhulume ngakho phezulu kutshengisa ukuthi nxa kuhunyutshwa iBhayibhili akuvumi ukuthi ibala lihunyutshwe ngendlela eyodwa kuwo wonke amavesi elitholakala kuwo. Umhumutshi kumele ahlolisise ukuze akhethe amabala angakubeka kuhle ngolimi lwakhe lokho okutshiwo emibhalweni yokuqala. Kanti njalo imitsho kumele yakhiwe ngendlela abantu abakhuluma ngayo ukuze bangathwali nzima nxa sebebala.
Kodwa nxa umhumutshi ebeka izinto ngolimi lwakhe kumele ananzelele angacini esechasisa kakhulu. Phela nxa angahumutsha ngendlela yena akuzwisisa ngayo lokho okutshiwoyo angacina esetshintsha iMibhalo. Kungenzakala njani lokho? Angacina esefaka imibono yakhe engananzeleli kumbe atshiye okunye okwakutshiwo emibhalweni yokuqala. Lanxa kungaba mnandi ukubala amaBhayibhili ahunyutshwe ngalindlela, kwezinye izikhathi angenza ukuthi obalayo angatholi khona kanye okutshiwo liBhayibhili.
Kungaba lula ukuthi umhumutshi weBhayibhili acine esephosele lokho yena akukholwayo. Ngokwesibonelo uMathewu 7:13 uthi: “Ibanzi indlela eya ekubhujisweni.” Kodwa abanye abahumutshi basebenzise ibala elithi “esihogweni” kulokuthi basebenzise elithi “ekubhujisweni” elitshiwo yisiGrikhi. Mhlawumbe okwenza benze njalo yilokho abakukholwayo.
Umhumutshi kumele akhumbule ukuthi iBhayibhili labhalwa ngolimi olwalukhulunywa ngabantu nje emphakathini, ngokwesibonelo abalimi labelusi labagoli benhlanzi. (UNehemiya 8:8, 12; ImiSebenzi 4:13) Ngakho iBhayibhili elihunyutshwe kuhle ngelizwisiswa ngabantu bonke kungelani lokuthi bangobani. Okungcono yikuthi kusetshenziswe amabala acacileyo, ajayelekileyo lazwisiseka lula kulokuthi kusetshenziswe amabala angajayelwanga ngabantu abanengi.
Abahumutshi beBhayibhili abanengi bakhipha ibizo likaNkulunkulu elithi Jehova emaBhayibhilini abo lanxa litholakala emibhalweni yasendulo. (Khangela iSengezo ku-A4.) Abanye bafaka ibizo lokuhlonipha elithi “Nkosi” esikhundleni sebizo likaNkulunkulu futhi abanye baze bakufihle ukuthi vele uNkulunkulu ulebizo. Ngokwesibonelo, kwamanye amaBhayibhili umthandazo kaJesu okuJohane 17:26 uthi: “Ngikuvezile wena kubo,” njalo kuJohane 17:6 uthi, “Ngikuvezile kulabo owangipha bona.” Kodwa indlela eqondileyo yokubeka amazwi kaJesu yile: “Sengenze balazi ibizo lakho,” kanye lokuthi “Sengenze ibizo lakho laziwa ebantwini owangipha bona.”
Thina silandela lokho okwatshiwo kuSandulelo se-Nguqulo Yomhlaba Omutsha yokuqala yolimi lwesiNgisi, yathi: “Asiyifinqi iMibhalo njalo asifaki imibono yethu. Besizama ngazo zonke izindlela ukuhumutsha khona kanye okubhalwe emibhalweni yokuqala nxa kuyikuthi ulimi lwesiNgisi luyavuma njalo besihumutsha ibala ngebala nxa kuyikuthi ivesi iphuma icacile.” Ngakho iKhomithi Yokuhumutsha INguqulo Yomhlaba Omutsha ibisenza konke okusemandleni ayo ukuthi isebenzise amabala lemitsho eveza lokho okutshiwo emibhalweni yokuqala kodwa ibisiba leqiniso lokuthi ayitshiyi amavesi engazwisiseki loba engacacanga.
