28 And the priest will make atonement for the person* who made a mistake by an unintentional sin before Jehovah, so as to make atonement for it, and it will be forgiven him.+

7 However, if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light, we do have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.+

2 My little children, I am writing you these things so that you may not commit a sin. And yet, if anyone does commit a sin, we have a helper* with the Father, Jesus Christ,+ a righteous one.+ 2 And he is a propitiatory sacrifice*+ for our sins,+ yet not for ours only but also for the whole world’s.+
