14 “Why are we sitting here?

Let us gather together and enter the fortified cities+ and perish there.

15 Therefore this is what Jehovah of armies says against the prophets:

For from the prophets of Jerusalem apostasy has spread throughout the land.”

15 He has filled me with bitter things and saturated me with wormwood.+

19 Remember my affliction and my homeless state,+ the wormwood and the bitter poison.+
