31 For Jehovah your God is a merciful God.+ He will not desert you or bring you to ruin or forget the covenant+ of your forefathers that he swore to them.

5 Nobody will take a firm stand before you all the days of your life.+ Just as I proved to be with Moses I shall prove to be with you.+ I shall neither desert you nor leave you entirely.+

5 Let [YOUR] manner of life be free of the love of money,+ while YOU are content+ with the present things.+ For he has said: “I will by no means leave you nor by any means forsake you.”+
