24 For it was with a small number of men that the military force of the Syrians made an invasion,+ and Jehovah himself gave into their hand a military force of very great number,+ because they had left Jehovah the God of their forefathers; and upon Je·hoʹash they executed acts of judgment.+

17 A thousand will tremble* on account of the rebuke of one;+ on account of the rebuke of five YOU will flee until YOU will have remained over like a mast on the top of a mountain and like a signal* on a hill.+
