32 Now the sons of Reuʹben+ and the sons of Gad+ had come to have numerous livestock, very many, in fact. And they began to see the land of Jaʹzer+ and the land of Gilʹe·ad, and, look! the place was a place for livestock.

25 and their territory came to be Jaʹzer+ and all the cities of Gilʹe·ad+ and half of the land of the sons of Amʹmon+ as far as A·roʹer,+ which is in front of Rabʹbah;+

8 because the terraces themselves of Heshʹbon+ have withered. The vine of Sibʹmah+—the owners* of the nations themselves have smitten down its bright-red [branches].* As far as Jaʹzer+ they had reached; they had wandered about in the wilderness. Its own shoots had been left to luxuriate for themselves; they had gone over to the sea.

32 “‘With more than the weeping for Jaʹzer+ I shall weep for you, O vine of Sibʹmah.+ Your own flourishing shoots have crossed over the sea. To the sea—[to] Jaʹzer+—they have reached. Upon your summer fruitage+ and upon your grape gathering the despoiler himself has fallen.+
