24 And he will certainly give their kings into your hand,+ and you must destroy their names from under the heavens.+ Nobody will take a firm stand against you,+ until you have exterminated them.+

3 Jehovah* your God is the one crossing before you.+ He himself will annihilate these nations from before you, and you must drive them away.+ Joshua* is the one crossing before you,+ just as Jehovah has spoken.
