21 But Itʹtai answered the king and said: “As Jehovah is living and as my lord the king is living,+ in the place where my lord the king may come to be, whether for death or for life, there is where your servant will come to be!”+
2 And E·liʹjah began to say to E·liʹsha: “Sit here, please, because Jehovah himself has sent me clear to Bethʹel.” But E·liʹsha said: “As Jehovah is living+ and as your soul is living,+ I will not leave you.”+ So they went down to Bethʹel.+
10 But Jehovah is in truth God.*+ He is the living God+ and the King to time indefinite.+ Because of his indignation the earth will rock,+ and no nations will hold up under his denunciation.+
16 At that King Zed·e·kiʹah swore to Jeremiah in the place of concealment, saying: “As Jehovah is alive, who has made for us this soul,+ I will not put you to death, and I will not give you into the hand of these men who are seeking for your soul.”+
