5 and Zikʹlag+ and Beth-marʹca·both and Haʹzar-suʹsah,+

30 And it came about while David and his men were coming to Zikʹlag+ on the third day, that the A·malʹek·ites+ made a raid on the south and on Zikʹlag; and they proceeded to strike Zikʹlag and burn it with fire,

1 And it came about after Saul’s death, and when David himself had returned from striking down the A·malʹek·ites,*+ that David continued to dwell at Zikʹlag+ two days.

30 and in Be·thuʹel+ and in Horʹmah+ and in Zikʹlag+

12 And these are the ones that came to David at Zikʹlag+ while he was still under restrictions because of Saul+ the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men,+ the helpers in the warfare,

20 When he came to Zikʹlag+ there deserted to him from Ma·nasʹseh Adʹnah and Joʹza·bad and Je·diʹa·el and Miʹcha·el and Joʹza·bad and E·liʹhu and Zilʹle·thai, heads+ of the thousands that belonged to Ma·nasʹseh.
