30 Joseph was now in a hurry, because his inward emotions were excited toward his brother,+ so that he looked for a place to weep and he went into an interior room and gave way to tears there.+

15 Can a wife forget her suckling so that she should not pity the son of her belly?+ Even these women can forget,+ yet I myself shall not forget you.*+

20 “Is Eʹphra·im a precious son to me, or a fondly treated child?+ For to the extent of my speaking against him I shall without fail remember him further.+ That is why my intestines have become boisterous for him.+ By all means I shall have pity upon him,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah.

8 “How can I give you up, O Eʹphra·im?+ [How] can I deliver you up, O Israel?+ How can I set you as Adʹmah?+ [How] can I place you like Ze·boiʹim?+ My heart has changed within me;+ at the same time my compassions have grown hot.
