8 And the sons of Israel proceeded to weep for Moses on the desert plains of Moʹab thirty days.+ At length the days of weeping of the mourning period for Moses were completed.

18 So they buried him, and all Israel went wailing for him, according to Jehovah’s word that he had spoken by means of his servant A·hiʹjah the prophet.
