5 Consequently Jehovah saw that the badness of man was abundant in the earth and every inclination+ of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time.*+
7After that Jehovah said to Noah: “Go, you and all your household,+ into the ark, because you are the one I have seen to be righteous before me among this generation.+
22Now after these things it came about that the [true] God put Abraham to the test.+ Accordingly he said to him: “Abraham!” to which he said: “Here I am!”+
