28 At that time they will keep calling me, but I shall not answer;+ they will keep looking for me, but they will not find me,+

15 And when YOU spread out YOUR palms,+ I hide my eyes from YOU.+ Even though YOU make many prayers,+ I am not listening;+ with bloodshed* YOUR very hands have become filled.+

11 Therefore this is what Jehovah has said, ‘Here I am bringing upon them a calamity+ that they will not be able to get out of;+ and they will certainly call to me for aid, but I shall not listen to them.+

12 When they fast, I am not listening to their entreating cry;+ and when they offer up the whole burnt offering and the grain offering, I am taking no pleasure in them;+ for by the sword and by famine and by pestilence I am bringing them to their end.”+

4 At that time they will call to Jehovah for aid, but he will not answer them.+ And he will conceal his face from them in that time,+ according as they committed badness in their dealings.+

13 “‘And so it occurred that, just as he called and they did not listen,+ so they would call and I would not listen,’+ Jehovah of armies has said.
