10 So the runners+ continued on, passing along from city to city throughout the land of Eʹphra·im+ and Ma·nasʹseh, even to Zebʹu·lun; but they were continually speaking in mockery of them and deriding them.+

16 But they were continually making jest+ at the messengers of the [true] God and despising his words+ and mocking+ at his prophets, until the rage+ of Jehovah came up against his people, until there was no healing.+

7 You have fooled me, O Jehovah, so that I was fooled. You used your strength against me, so that you prevailed.+ I became an object of laughter all day long; everyone is holding me in derision.+
