12 And men will certainly call them the holy people,+ those repurchased by Jehovah;+ and you yourself will be called Searched For,* a City Not Left Entirely.+

13 Christ by purchase+ released+ us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse+ instead of us, because it is written: “Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake.”*+

14 who gave himself+ for us that he might deliver+ us from every sort of lawlessness and cleanse+ for himself a people peculiarly his own,+ zealous for fine works.+

18 For YOU know that it was not with corruptible things,+ with silver or gold, that YOU were delivered*+ from YOUR fruitless form of conduct received by tradition from YOUR forefathers.
