29 Immediately he said to Ge·haʹzi:+ “Gird up your loins+ and take my staff+ in your hand and go. In case you encounter anyone, you must not greet him;+ and in case anyone should greet you, you must not answer him. And you must place my staff upon the face of the boy.”+
9And E·liʹsha the prophet, for his part, called one of the sons+ of the prophets and then said to him: “Gird up your loins+ and take this flask*+ of oil in your hand and go to Raʹmoth-gilʹe·ad.+
37 Happy are those slaves whom the master on arriving finds watching!+ Truly I say to YOU, He will gird+ himself and make them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them.+
13 Hence brace up YOUR minds for activity,*+ keep YOUR senses completely;+ set YOUR hope* upon the undeserved kindness+ that is to be brought to YOU at the revelation+ of Jesus Christ.
