7 And the eyes of Zed·e·kiʹah he blinded,+ after which he bound him with copper fetters, in order to bring him to Babylon.

40 The word that occurred to Jeremiah from Jehovah after Neb·uʹzar·adʹan+ the chief of the bodyguard sent him from Raʹmah,+ when he took him while he was bound with handcuffs in the midst of all the exiles of Jerusalem and of Judah, who were being taken into exile in Babylon.+

 7 He has blocked me up as with a stone wall, that I may not go forth.+ He has made my copper fetters+ heavy.
