29 “Have you seen how Aʹhab has humbled himself on my account?+ For the reason that he has humbled himself because of me, I shall not bring the calamity in his own days.+ In the days of his son I shall bring the calamity upon his house.”+

14 Who is there knowing whether he will turn back and actually feel regret+ and let remain after it a blessing,+ a grain offering and a drink offering for Jehovah YOUR God?

10 And the [true] God got to see their works,+ that they had turned back from their bad way;+ and so the [true] God felt regret+ over the calamity that he had spoken of causing to them; and he did not cause [it].+
