4 And the city got to be breached,+ and all the men of war [fled]* by night by the way of the gate between the double wall that is by the king’s garden,+ while the Chal·deʹans+ were all around against the city; and [the king]* began to go+ in the direction of the Arʹa·bah.+

12 And as regards the chieftain who is in the midst of them, on the shoulder he will do carrying in the darkness and go out; through the wall they will bore in order to do the bringing forth through it.+ His face he will cover in order that he may not see with his own eye the earth.’
