49 “Jehovah will raise up against you a nation far away,+ from the end of the earth, just as an eagle pounces,+ a nation whose tongue you will not understand,+

15 “Here I am bringing in upon YOU men a nation from far away,+ O house of Israel,” is the utterance of Jehovah. “It is an enduring nation.+ It is a nation of long ago, a nation whose language* you do not know, and you cannot hear [understandingly] what they speak.

22 This is what Jehovah has said: “Look! A people is coming from the land of the north, and there is a great nation that will be awakened from the remotest parts of the earth.+

23 the sons of Babylon+ and all the Chal·deʹans,+ Peʹkod+ and Shoʹa and Koʹa, all the sons of As·syrʹi·a with them, desirable young men, governors and deputy rulers all of them, warriors* and summoned ones, riding on horses, all of them.
