20 And it came about that as soon as all Israel heard that Jer·o·boʹam had returned, they at once sent and called him to the assembly* and made him king over all Israel.+ None became a follower of the house of David except the tribe of Judah by itself.+

21 Ma·nasʹseh Eʹphra·im, and Eʹphra·im Ma·nasʹseh. Together they will be against Judah.+ In view of all this his anger has not turned back, but his hand is stretched out still.+
