18 A prophet I shall raise up for them from the midst of their brothers, like you;+ and I shall indeed put my words in his mouth,+ and he will certainly speak to them all that I shall command him.+

16 Now fear+ seized them all, and they began to glorify God, saying: “A great prophet+ has been raised up among us,” and, “God has turned his attention to his people.”+

2 This one came to him in the night+ and said to him: “Rabbi,+ we know that you as a teacher+ have come from God;+ for no one can perform these signs+ that you perform unless God is with him.”+

14 Hence when the men saw the signs he performed, they began to say: “This is for a certainty the prophet+ that was to come into the world.”

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Naz·a·reneʹ,+ a man publicly shown by God to YOU through powerful works+ and portents and signs that God did through him in YOUR midst,+ just as YOU yourselves know,
