16 In the past generations he permitted all the nations to go on in their ways,+

25 God set him forth as an offering for propitiation*+ through faith in his blood.+ This was in order to exhibit his own righteousness, because he was forgiving the sins+ that occurred in the past while God was exercising forbearance;+

13 For until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not charged against anyone when there is no law.+

18 while they are in darkness mentally,+ and alienated+ from the life that belongs to God, because of the ignorance+ that is in them, because of the insensibility+ of their hearts.
