4 Now Adam had intercourse with Eve his wife and she became pregnant.+ In time she gave birth to Cain*+ and said: “I have produced* a man with the aid of Jehovah.”+

19 Then they got up early in the morning and prostrated themselves before Jehovah, after which they returned and came into their house at Raʹmah.+ El·kaʹnah now had intercourse+ with Hanʹnah his wife, and Jehovah began remembering her.+

25 But he had no intercourse+ with her* until she gave birth to a son;+ and he called his name Jesus.+

4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement,+ for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.*+
