43 He asked them: “How is it, then, that David under inspiration+ calls him Lord, saying, 44 ‘Jehovah* said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies beneath your feet”’?+
42 For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘Jehovah* said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand 43 until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”’+
34 For David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, ‘Jehovah* said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand 35 until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.”’+
3 He is the reflection of God’s glory+ and the exact representation of his very being,+ and he sustains all things by the word of his power. And after he had made a purification for our sins,+ he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.+
12 But this man offered one sacrifice for sins for all time and sat down at the right hand of God,+13 from then on waiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet.+
