20 Go out from Babylon!+

Flee from the Chal·deʹans!

Announce it with a joyful cry! Proclaim it!+

Make it known to the ends of the earth.+

Say: “Jehovah has repurchased his servant Jacob.+

Do not perish because of her error.

For it is the time for Jehovah’s vengeance.

He is paying her back for what she has done.+

45 Get out of her midst, my people!+

Escape for your lives*+ from the burning anger of Jehovah!+

7 “Come, Zion! Make your escape, you who are dwelling with the daughter of Babylon.+

17 “‘Therefore, get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah,* ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”;+ “‘and I will take you in.’”+

2 And he cried out with a strong voice, saying: “She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen,+ and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a place where every unclean spirit* and every unclean and hated bird lurks!+

4 And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people,+ if you do not want to share with her in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues.+
