11 King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar of Babylon came to the city while his servants were laying siege to it.

13 Then he took out from there all the treasures of the house of Jehovah and the treasures of the king’s house.*+ He cut into pieces all the gold utensils that Solʹo·mon the king of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah.+ This happened just as Jehovah had foretold.

7 And Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar took some of the utensils of the house of Jehovah to Babylon and put them in his palace in Babylon.+

28 In that same year, in the beginning of the reign of King Zed·e·kiʹah+ of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, the prophet Han·a·niʹah the son of Azʹzur from Gibʹe·on+ said to me in the house of Jehovah in the presence of the priests and all the people: 2 “This is what Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.+ 3 Within two years* I am bringing back to this place all the utensils of the house of Jehovah that King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar of Babylon took from this place and brought to Babylon.’”+

1 In the third year of the kingship of King Je·hoiʹa·kim+ of Judah, King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.+ 2 In time Jehovah gave King Je·hoiʹa·kim of Judah into his hand,+ along with some of the utensils of the house* of the true God, and he brought them to the land of Shiʹnar*+ to the house* of his god. He placed the utensils in the treasury of his god.+
