36 From A·roʹer,+ which is on the rim of the Arʹnon Valley* (including the city that is in the valley), as far as Gilʹe·ad, no town was beyond our reach. Jehovah our God handed them all over to us.+

12 At that time we took possession of this land: from A·roʹer,+ which is by the Arʹnon Valley,* and half of the mountainous region of Gilʹe·ad, and I have given its cities to the Reuʹben·ites and the Gadʹites.+
