KARKA
(Karʹka) [Floor].
A site on Judah’s S boundary between Addar (No. 2) and Azmon. (Jos 15:1-4) The exact location is today uncertain. Some scholars tentatively identify it with a well-built pool discovered at the confluence of Wadi el-ʽAin and Wadi Umm Hashim, about 4 km (2.5 mi) ESE of Azmon (ʽAin el-Qeseimeh).—See KADESH, KADESH-BARNEA.
