◆ On January 23, 1990, the Benin government officially lifted the ban on the work of Jehovah’s Witnesses in that country. On January 28 the brothers rejoiced to be able to meet together for a special meeting held in Cotonou, and now they look forward to stepping up their theocratic work.

◆ Colombia continues to report fine growth. During January they reached a new peak of 43,850 publishers, and 490 were baptized.
