Get the Most Out of Our Videos

We love the videos on jw.org because they teach us important lessons that help us draw closer to Jehovah. Many watch these videos as part of their family worship or personal study. How can you get the most benefit from them? Consider a few suggestions.

Pause and reflect. Do not feel that you have to watch the whole video straight through. Pause, if necessary, to reflect on important points or scriptures. Ask yourself, ‘How can I apply this in my life or use it to help others?’ If you are watching the video with others, you could discuss such questions together.

Take notes. Write down key scriptures, points, or practical applications that you want to remember. This makes it easier for you to review later what you learned from the video.

Watch again. Do not hesitate to watch a video more than once. Each time, you might notice something that you missed earlier or remember a detail that you forgot.
