    • 34 διὰ Through τοῦτο this ἰδοὺ look! ἐγὼ I ἀποστέλλω am sending off πρὸς toward ὑμᾶς YOU προφήτας prophets καὶ and σοφοὺς wise (ones) καὶ and γραμματεῖς· scribes; ἐξ out of αὐτῶν them ἀποκτενεῖτε YOU will kill καὶ and σταυρώσετε, YOU will put on stakes, καὶ and ἐξ out of αὐτῶν them μαστιγώσετε YOU will scourge ἐν in ταῖς the συναγωγαῖς synagogues ὑμῶν of YOU καὶ and διώξετε YOU will persecute ἀπὸ from πόλεως city εἰς into πόλιν· city;
