    • 37 καὶ And ἠρώτησεν requested αὐτὸν him ἅπαν all τὸ the πλῆθος multitude τῆς of the περιχώρου surrounding country τῶν of the Γερασηνῶν Gerasenes ἀπελθεῖν to get away ἀπ’ from αὐτῶν, them, ὅτι because φόβῳ to fear μεγάλῳ great συνείχοντο· they were being held together; αὐτὸς he δὲ but ἐμβὰς having stepped in εἰς into πλοῖον boat ὑπέστρεψεν. returned.
