  judges rendering wicked decisions: Christ himself humbly refused to judge in matters over which he had not been appointed. (Lu 12:13, 14 and study note) Yet, some Christians were acting as self-appointed judges, and they were rendering “wicked decisions”—judging the value of others based on wealth or superficial traits. As one translation says here, they were “acting like a crooked judge.” By rendering such decisions, they were promoting “class distinctions” that, in turn, would cause divisions in Jehovah’s congregation. (Ga 3:28) Judgments of that kind were truly wicked.—Mt 23:8; Joh 17:20, 21.
